Booking Your Voyage

What we need when you book

When you contact us, please assist us by having the following information available: the full names of all members of your party, exactly as shown on their passports, together with dates of birth and details of any special requirements or disabilities. It is essential that the family and first names on each passport match those on your travel documents exactly.

In most cases we can confirm your holiday immediately, and advise flight times, itinerary details and the price including any applicable supplements. For high season dates, when demand is great, or if you book within eight weeks of departure, we may have to request additional cabin or hotel space, which means it may take slightly longer to confirm your holiday, though usually no more than 48 hours. We are unable to accept provisional or conditional bookings.

Correspondence

When you book through Coastal Cruises, all communication between you and Hurtigruten Limited must be through Coastal Cruises; please quote the reference number shown on your invoice in any communication. We aim to email a confirmation invoice within 2 working days of receiving your booking and deposit, though at busy times please allow longer. One invoice and one set of documents are issued per booking, so if you are travelling with friends and would each like separate documents, please make two bookings and let us know at the time. Travel documents are normally sent out around two weeks before departure.

Deposits & Final Payment

When payment is due

Once you have asked us to confirm your Hurtigruten booking, the total price of the arrangements you have booked is due and payable as follows.

Please note that there is a 1% service charge for all bookings from outside the UK, to cover the extra costs of servicing these bookings.

How to Pay

Payment methods

You can pay your deposit by bank debit card or credit card, including American Express. Balance payments may be made by bank debit card, credit card, American Express or bank transfer.

Payment by bank transfer

You may pay by bank transfer, quoting your booking reference as the payment reference.

If you receive an email or phone call asking you to pay into any account other than the one shown above or on your invoice, please call us on 0333 405 0194 before making any payment.
