1). Check through the various Hurtigruten Cruises to decide which cruise you prefer. Essentially, all the ships do an identical journey - i.e. departing Bergen, calling at 34 ports on their way north to Kirkenes, then turning around and calling into the same 34 ports on the return journey south to Bergen.
The ports that are visited during the day on the voyage north are visited during the night on the voyage south and the ports that are visited during the night on the voyage north are visited during the day on the voyage south. See Northbound Sailings and Southbound Sailings for timings.
With a different ship departing Bergen each day, there is a departure from Bergen on virtually every day of the year.
You can choose to do the Full Round Voyage, the Voyage North, the Voyage South or a package that takes you on part of the voyage and partly on land.
2). Choose the ship or type of ship that you wish to travel on and also the cabin type you wish to book.
3). Check the schedules of your preferred ship from either Bergen or Kirkenes to find your preferred date of departure.
4). When you have decided on your cruise, ship and date of departure, you can choose the way in which you travel to Norway - either flying or by sea. You can then also choose whether you want any extra nights in an hotel before or after your cruise and also whether you wish to pre-book any shore excursions.
5). Call us on 0845 430 9714 - we will check availability for preferred cruise and if available book it for you or if not, offer the closest alternative. You should also advise us at this time of any special requirements or special requests that should be noted on the booking.
If you are booking more than 10 weeks prior to departure, we will need a deposit of £250 for each person travelling, if you are travelling within 10 weeks of departure, we will need full payment at the time of booking.
We accept : Visa, Mastercard (2% charge), American Express (2% charge),
Switch or Delta (No Charge). Balances can also be paid by cheque (No charge).
6). When your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a written confirmation within 7 -10 days. This should be checked carefully to ensure that all details are correct (names of all passengers should be the same as shown on their passports), if not, you should notify us immediately.

Stay the night before your flight at an airport hotel. Perfect for early departures and late arrivals. We can offer a selection of hotels at our departure airports - room only or in conjunction with parking.

Pre-book to guarantee a space and best prices at 50 airport car parks. Take advantage of free airport transfers or choose personal parking and drop and collect your car at the airport terminal.

After you final balance has been paid, we will send tickets two you approximately two weeks prior to departure.
