Your Hurtigruten cruise fare is charged according to which cabin grade you choose. Each ship has several different cabin grades, colour-coded as per the table below, and these colour codes are also shown in the price panels for your holiday.
Choose from a wide range of comfortable cabins. They vary in size and location, sometimes within the same grade, and as a general rule, outside accommodation on the higher decks has a picture window while the lower decks have portholes.
A choice of suites on MS Midnatsol and MS Trollfjord will enable you to select a cabin with a balcony or bay window and some have bath/Jacuzzi.
Suites
Choose from Hurtigruten's wide range of comfortable suites. They are graded QJ, Q, M, MG and MX and have a seating area with TV. They have a shower / WC and most have a double bed* (this may be two single mattresses set in a double frame which cannot be separated). Our sales consultants will be pleased to give advice if you would prefer a bath / Jacuzzi.
Suite Service
Hurtigruten have introduced a range of extras if you book a suite on board one of their ships. They include a welcome present, tea / coffee making facilities in your cabin, an invitation to visit the bridge, complimentary free tea / coffee on board throughout your voyage and late checkout. For a fee you also have the option to have breakfast served in your cabin and the use of a minibar.
Standard and Superior Cabins
Cabin grades I, L, J, N, P and U all have private facilities and twin beds, one of which can be turned into a sofa.
Some I, J and N grade cabins have upper and lower berths (to accommodate a third passneger) and D grades on MS Lofoten and MS Nordstjernen have a wash basin only.
Special Cabins
With the exception of Hurtigruten's MS Lofoten and MS Nordstjernen, all the ships have at least one specially equipped cabin for disabled passengers. Special non-allergy cabins are available on MS Finnmarken. Please contact our reservations team for further information.

General Information
Fares for cabins which can accommodate three or four people are available on request and inter-connecting cabins are available on some of the ships.
For you guidance we have indicated those grades where a few outside cabins have restricted or no view, as lifeboats or safety equipment may obstruct the view or portholes may be small or "tunnelled".
Please note that for safety reasons, cabins on the two lower decks of MS Lofoten may have closed portholes during the winter period.
