This 5 day voyage travels to remote regions along the dramatic coastline and the most northerly part of Norway. Your journey begins in Tromsø, with a leisurely voyage north. You then head to the sheltered harbour of Kirkenes, a mere 10km from the Russian border.
The return journey from Kirkenes to Tromsø hugs the coastline and you will revisit remote settlements which rely on Hurtigruten ships to maintain contact with the rest of Norway.
During this voyage, there are opportunities to join excursions to the North Cape or a trip to the Russian border.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Fly London Stansted to Tromsø and transfer to the ship for embarkation. (D)
Days 2 - 3 : Relax and enjoy the voyage passing North Cape and sailing north towards Kirkenes. (B, D)
Day 4 : Arrival at Tromsø just before Midnight, disembark and transfer to centrally located hotel for an overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 5 : Morning transfer to the airport for return flights (via Oslo). (B)
