Surrounded by seven mountains, Bergen is the gateway to Norway's magnificent fjord region. The city was founded in 1070 and is steeped in history. Visit the old Hanseatic warehouses on "Bryggen" or take a step back in time on a stroll through the steep and narrow alleyways of "old Bergen".
